Information we process

Enquiries and business contacts

When you contact us, we process the details you provide, such as your name, work contact details, company, country, product category and the content of your message. If a colleague or business partner introduces you, we may receive your name, role and work contact details from that person or organisation.

The website form prepares an email in your own email application. It does not submit your entries to a website database. We receive the information only if you send the email.

Website use

The infrastructure delivering the website may process an IP address, the page requested, date and time, and basic browser or device information. This is used to deliver the site, maintain security and resolve technical problems.

Age and privacy choices

The age gate records only whether you confirmed that you are of legal drinking age; it does not ask for your date of birth. The website also remembers your privacy choice. These values are stored in your browser as explained in the Cookie & Browser Storage Policy.

Why we use it and for how long

Responding to enquiries

Purpose
To assess and respond to your request and discuss a possible commercial relationship.
Legal basis
Steps requested before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), where applicable; otherwise our legitimate interest in handling business correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
Ordinary enquiries are generally kept for up to 12 months after the conversation ends. We may keep relevant correspondence longer if a commercial relationship develops or it is needed for a legal claim.

Business administration and legal duties

Purpose
To manage commercial relationships, keep required records and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Legal basis
Contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)), compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)) and our legitimate interest in protecting our legal position (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
For the duration of the relationship, then for the period required by tax, accounting or other law and the applicable limitation periods.

Website operation and security

Purpose
To provide a reliable website, diagnose faults and protect it against misuse.
Legal basis
Our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
Technical records, where generated, are kept only for as long as needed for security, fault diagnosis or incident handling, unless the law requires longer retention.

Remembering age confirmation

Purpose
To avoid asking for age confirmation on every visit when you choose this option.
Legal basis
Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, if the stored value is personal data).
Retention
30 days in your browser, or until you withdraw consent or clear the site data.

We do not use enquiry data for marketing.

Who may receive the data

Access is limited to people who need the information for their work. We may also use providers supporting website hosting, business email, IT security or maintenance, and professional advisers such as legal or accounting firms. Public authorities may receive data where disclosure is required by law.

If a provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we use a transfer mechanism permitted by Chapter V GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You may contact us for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.

Your choices and rights

Providing information in an enquiry is voluntary. We need enough contact and enquiry information to respond; without it, we may not be able to deal with your request. Optional browser storage is also voluntary, and declining it does not restrict access to the website.

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send your request to contact@tassilian.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.

Right to complainYou may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland. Guidance and contact details are available at uodo.gov.pl.

Automated decisions and updates

We do not use data covered by this policy for profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We will update this page when our processing or the website changes. The date above shows when this policy was last revised.
